this story was slow, but very enjoyable. The narration was beautiful and the uneasy feeling you got and the erge of needing to know what happens to this island was enough to keep going through the slower parts

great narration, that really made this enjoyable. but the story as well, the slow burn of the Scottish isles, the ancient family ties. I thought it was quite beautiful, and not gratuitous in the violence at all
