About this listen

Max Baker, a 31-year-old accountant, finds himself in a desperate situation after killing a prostitute in his hotel room. ‘I lost control of myself,’ he says. ‘I couldn’t get the thought out of my head!’ Panicking and unable to dispose of the evidence by himself, he calls on his long-time friend John Kasper for help. Kasper is horrified and hesitant to help at first, but he can’t abandon his friend during his time of need. Max’s family and future are at stake. Together, they devise and execute one plan after another, hopelessly trying to hide Max’s crime...

But how do you make a dead body disappear from the 29th floor of a busy hotel?

Jon Athan, the author of Lovesick and The Groomer, invites you to spend a night with Max and Kasper to explore the human body in this extreme psychological horror novel. Do you have the guts to check-in?

It was a little to similar to a very famous movie for me. I really enjoyed the violence and the level of detail that went into though, including describing the smells.

A little crazy.

Jonn Athan has a way of really getting under your skin; his brutality hits really hard and he has no issue with writing some of the nastiest acts of violence of all authors involved the genre. Dead Body Disposal is no exception to Jon Athan's penchant for abit of the old, ultra-violence. The title pretty much says it all, where we find our perpetrator, Max, hauled up in a hotel room with the dilemma of disposing of a woman he's murdered. Connsidering that's the main premise of the tale, it stays pretty interesting and gets right outta control in the final act.
If you liked Kristopher Triana's "Full Brutal" or Adam Beuregard's "Wedding Day Massacre", then this one is definitely for you.
