Publisher's Summary

Returning early from a disastrous date night with my husband, I know something is wrong the moment the wheels crunch the gravel drive of our home. Inside, the TV is on and a half-eaten meal waits on the table. My heart stops when I find our little girl is alone in the house and our babysitter, Sasha, is missing....

Days later, when I’m arrested for Sasha’s murder and torn away from my perfect little family, I’ll wish I had told someone about the threatening note I received that morning.

I’ll hate myself for not finding out who the gift hidden inside my husband’s wardrobe was for.

I’ll scream from the rooftops that I’m innocent - but no one will listen.

I will realise I was completely wrong about everything that happened that night....

But will you believe me?

Twisted and absolutely unputdownable, Date Night exposes what goes on behind the closed doors of a happy home and the dangerous truths we ignore to protect the ones we love. Perfect reading for anyone totally gripped by The Wife Between Us, Friend Request or Gone Girl.

Great book

Loved the twists in the end, definitely enjoyed this book, a story about marriage and a mother's love!!
On the surface, a story about how toxic suspicions can cause pain, pain from which there is no coming back from.

Too repetitive, too slow

I didn’t enjoy this book and ended up skipping to last few chapters to find out what happened- too much repetition- I kept thinking , “wait didn’t that happen a few chapters ago?”

Frustrating

Really frustrated with this. I should have read all of the reviews first. Very convoluted, repetitive and inconsistent characters, as if the author changed their mind about the characters half way through and completely pivots with what she is doing with them. The main character lies to the audience which is ultimately entirely unsatisfying. Corny. Really wish I had not wasted a credit on this!

Disappointing

With a weak storyline and shallow characters this book didn’t stand a chance with the poor narration. The reader has an annoying voice without any depth and can’t pronounce any word beginning with R so ‘weally’ hard to listen to. When she changed character the voices became very silly. I couldn’t finish the book it was like listening to a playschool presenter reading Goldilocks and the three bears...

Disappointing

I had high expectations of this book, only to be very disappointed. The story was so dragged out in many places, and Libby the main character had no substance. The narrator was so over the top, especially when reading for the daughter. Plot was ridiculous. Sorry, I tried to like it but couldn't.
