Vor fünfzehn Jahren verschwand hier ein junges Mädchen spurlos, doch niemand will etwas gehört oder gesehen haben. Dann geschieht plötzlich ein Mord und zwei weitere Mädchen verschwinden. Die junge Kriminalistin Sarah vermutet einen Zusammenhang mit dem ungelösten Fall, stößt damit jedoch auf breite Ablehnung. Nur der Täter nimmt sie ernst, und der ist ihr immer einen Schritt voraus.
