Nun triumphieren die drei Retter in Not und Gefahr, in dem sie sich für die Besserstellung geknechteter Legehennen und Kleinküken einsetzen. Leider läuft nicht alles so glatt, wie Plato sich die Aktion in der großen Scheune vorgestellt hatte, denn Eugen und Ede haben irgendwie nicht richtig zugehört! Ein Abenteuer mit außergewöhnlichem Happy-End.
