Nichts an Patrick Süskinds "Das Parfum" ist gewöhnlich. Weder die Hauptfigur Jean-Baptiste Grenouille mit ihrem perfekten Geruchssinn. Noch die Geschichte seines Lebens, in der Mord so beiläufig ist wie ein angenehmer Duft. Dieser Klassiker der Weltliteratur verführt vom ersten bis zum letzten Wort - und fordert die Sinne auf außergewöhnliche Weise heraus.

Im ungekürzten Hörbuch gelingt es Sprecher Hans Korte, die Ohren in eine Nase zu verwandeln. Seine zurückhaltende, beinahe anachronistische Sprechweise malt die Düfte und Handlungsorte in genau den Farben, die Süskinds Worte beabsichtigen.
