Joseph von Eichendorff (1788-1857) gehört zu den wichtigsten Schriftstellern des frühen 19. Jahrhunderts. Seine Gedichte bilden einen Höhepunkt der romantischen Lyrik und seine poetischen Erzählungen sind bis heute unvergessene Klassiker.
