Tina und Theo Theufel sind geschlagen mit Eltern, die keinen Hund haben, aber ständig Rote Bete essen wollen. Außerdem wissen sie immer alles besser. Also die Eltern. Die Kinder auch. Der Apfel fällt schließlich nicht weit vom Stamm. Aber Theo und Tina geben wenigstens zu, dass sie Klugscheißer sind. Mama und Papa streiten es ab. Das ist natürlich absolut lächerlich.

Vor Kurzem sind die Theufels umgezogen in ein altes Haus mit einem Dachboden voller Abenteuer. Obwohl Spielen auf dem Dachboden nicht gerne gesehen ist, machen Tina und Theo nichts lieber als das. Und außerdem machen die Kinder auf dem Dachboden eine seltsame Entdeckung: In einer Bücherkiste haust ein kleines Männchen mit großer Klappe. Ein waschechtes Klugscheißerchen, das behauptet, nur für seinesgleichen sichtbar zu sein!
