Unterwegs stoßen sie auf eine riesige Zaubersuppe, in die Murmel entführt wird. Der besorgte Polter springt in die Zaubersuppe und macht sich auf die Suche nach seiner Freundin Murmel. Er gerät immer tiefer in die Suppe und muss sich dabei mit so mancher kurioser Gestalt auseinandersetzen: Mit dem prahlerischen Suppenwächter, dem chaotischen Rechenschweinchen Eins von Sieben und auch mit gemeinen Monstern, die am Grunde des Topfes hausen. Da wird selbst dem tapfersten Polizeihund ein bisschen mulmig. Aber um eine Freundin zu retten, muss man sich manchmal etwas trauen, was man sich eigentlich sonst nicht traut.
