This book was amazing I couldn’t predicted any of it, as said in another review!! In fact I couldn’t put it down!As a full time foster parent it reminded me of all the deep wounds our kids come with, we just need to love unconditionally!
When you have a baby people bring you meals pick up your older kids from school and sport, drop off mid week lunchbox foods. When you foster everyone says oh I couldn’t do that , and maybe that’s so, but why not drop off some baking, bring the washing in, pick up the kids from cricket, dance,art. It’s so hard at the start of a new placement and know one seems to notice. Be a foster parent supporter!!

This is my first Sally Hepworth book and I really enjoyed it. The performance was great and I fully recommend!

After being in a reading slump and normally a fantasy reader. A friend recommended this. Skeptical at first as “it’s not fantasy” but I’m so glad I read out of my comfort zone. This was such a great book and the narrator was just fantastic. Will be carrying on the recommendation

Good mystery, interesting characters with clear defined voices and an important topic. I really enjoyed listening to this. If you’re a fan of Hepworth or are looking for something unpretentious and just solidly entertaining, give Darling Girls a go.
