I liked this book and Christian's perspective. better interpretation by reader would have made the book sound and interpret better.

I see all these negative comments about it “being the same” and “don’t bother” but I disagree.

I think it’s because it had been YEARS since I read the original books from Ana’s perspective but I do recommend my method as I ended up loving Christian’s side of the story.

I loved this book in 2014 and I still love it 10 years later

To hear this story from Christian’s perspective was enlightening. To hear what he was thinking and feeling was so much more enjoyable. Such a tortured man but such a lovable man. By far Grey and now Darker are the books in the series that I like the most!

I was a Fifty Shades of Grey fan and was sceptical listening to storyline again but I loved it. It was great hearing Christians side of the story and that included extra parts not discussed from Anastasia’s point of view.

I'm really enjoying the Grey series more than the Fifty series. The key character in this storyline is a broken man with a broken soul and his path back to redemption through his growing relationship with Ana.
I'm throughly enjoying the insight into Christian's mind, his anxieties and his fears and his struggle with how to combat and defeat his demons.
My heart swelled when he laid it all out to Ana at Escala and bared his darkest fears to her. He really is a small child trapped in the body of a grown man.
I'm thoroughly looking forward to the final chapter in Christians story.
If like me, you want to follow Christian's story rather than Ana's, you will enjoy this book!
