Publisher's Summary

When Professor David Levinson accepts a friend’s invitation to an old Scottish castle, what he finds there is more fantastical than his most outlandish theories. The castle is home to a clan of immortals, their leader is a stunning demigoddess, and even more shockingly, it might be precisely where he belongs.

Except, the clan founder is hiding a secret that might cast a dark shadow on David’s relationship with her daughter.

Nevertheless, when offered a chance at immortality, he agrees to undergo the dangerous induction process.

Will David survive his transition into immortality? And if he does, will his relationship with Sari survive the unveiling of her mother’s secret?

David and Sari part 2

Dark Secret Absolved is book 46 in the Children of the Gods series and the finale of the Dark Secrets trilogy. This is the story of David and Sari. The Fates have been defiantly been working overtime, David has transitioned but a family crisis brings his mother and younger sister into the fold of Immortals. Stella and Richard finally bond—it is her secret that brings them together. With a new female line (David’s female relatives) and Stella’s secret… new possible storylines leave one to wonder where we are going.

If you haven’t read the spin-off series, you might want to after reading this. It will enrich this book and open up more contemplation. Highly recommend all I.T. Lucas books. This is a 5-star series.

Great series

As much as I love all the characters in this series I find this book boring and long winged it could be because it's not in the village with all the rest of the well known characters but I love the book just the same

Disappointed!

Have read all books to this point and enjoyed them. This one, however, was a disappointment. The transition of Daniel was excruciatingly long. Sari’s character was, in my view, savaged by the story. She was so pathetically portrayed and not believable in the context of her siblings, her mother, and her role in the Clan. Felt like the book was mainly filler. Hope the next are back up to the standard Lucas has led us to expect.
