This did not do it for me. I've enjoyed many Sadie Kincaid books but couldn't bring myself to go onto book 2.

While there is a connection between the characters, it is just miscommunication the whole way and OWD that is inexcusable. The cliffhanger was unexpected but predictable the further I got through the book.

I really struggled with this one.

I will still read other Sadie Kincaid books, but not this series.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. Great British accents.
