This MMC is simply divine!
Real rating is a 4.5/5 overall, because I have been utterly in love with some of JTG’s other books, and this one hasn’t quite hit the spot for me yet, but I can’t round it down to 4 stars because I have no notes/things I’d change. It’s just that their story is still in progress… so we’ll see how I feel by the end of the series!
The audiobook was really good, even though it wasn’t a duet narration, and I liked both narrators, they did great (always a nice relief after listening to some questionable narrators lately!).
Plus I absolutely adored the last series (wicked games) so it’s great to see Tabby and Connor in this one again. Am definitely enjoying this series so far as it’s good to follow Barney/Nazir’s story. JTG’s MMCs just keep getting better and better!
Edit: I have finished the series. It was SO GOOD. Utterly worth it.
