Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Parker S. Huntington comes a steamy, slow-burn love story full of second-chance romance.

“If ever I am gifted the opportunity to betray you, I’ll take it. If life hands me the chance to destroy you, I will. Today. Tomorrow. Ten years from now. I will always seek revenge. And you will never stop looking over your shoulder.”

Ten years ago, I crushed Damiano De Luca’s heart, vowing false promises I never delivered.

The revenge? Didn’t happen. The destruction? As if I could. Betrayal? Not. A. Chance.

We were 18 when I left, taking my secrets with me. Now at 28, there’s no trace of the jaded mafia prince with the protective streak.

He’s crueler. Colder. More calculated than ever. And he’s glaring at me from a funeral pew, looking at me and my wedding ring like we should be the ones buried six feet under.

The war is back on, but I’m not that teenage girl anymore. This time, there will be blood. And it won’t be mine.

Damiano De Luca is a full-length stand-alone novel in The Five Syndicates mafia romance series.

Great story

Loved the story. Not read Parker S Huntington before but are now looking at her other books.
It was the best audio book I’ve heard so far really enjoyed how it was a duet. Zachary and Desireé knocked it out the park

It’s ok

It’s ok, found it frustrating to listen too as I had just finished the previous book and found it was repetitive of the previous books chapters.
Narrators were good - especially Zachary Webber.

Magnificent

Damiano DeLuca is the 6th book in The Five Syndicates Series. This novel was gripping and engrossing, filled with secrets and lies, twists and turns, it was so much more than just a romance as there was much bigger story being played out which just blew my mind.
This novel evoked so many emotions from me, I laughed, I cried, I mourned, I swooned, I just felt it all. Parker S Huntington outdid herself with this novel, I was hooked and could not put it down. This series just keeps getting better and better with each now book, the stories evolving, yet always tying back to a central character to come full circle.
Damiano DeLuca was another phenomenal addition to this series. This page-turner was well-crafted and layered and I absolutely loved it. Definitely worthy of a 5 star status I would highly recommend this novel to all lovers of Second Chance and Mafia Romances.
After reading the novel, I listened to the audiobook version which was narrated by Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum. Can I just say how much I loved their voices. They brought the story to life infusing so much emotion in the story, I was sucked into their performance. It was an absolute pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

One of my favorite audiobooks to date!

I loved the narrators, they were perfect for bringing this book to life!
The story was full of want and need and deception and twisted lies. I was sucked into Renata’s world and couldn’t put the bin down! It was steamy and angst filled with such a good HEA!

Mafia Love Just So Stunning!

Damiano De Luca (A Second Chance Mafia Romance). The Five Syndicates Series, Book 6 should be listened to after the prequel Renata Vitali as it gives you a glimpse into the lives of Renata and Damiano De Luca. I absolutely love the characters and are drawn to them. A perfect twist swrls through the pages with a dose of mystery infused. The narrative is captivating and writing style is crafty and belletristic. I absolutely loved the epilogue and how it ended.

Narators Zachary Webber, Desireé Ketchum performance was impeccable. I absolutely loved everything about it. Perfect Intonation as well as their reflections. A perfect duo naration. I absolutely love these two narrators and I think they fit the characters and genre perfectly.

Great Read

Damiano De Luca: The Five Syndicates was a great read by Parker S. Huntington. This book is a great second chance romance for Damiano and Renata. Damiano and Renata knew each other ten years ago when Renata crushed Damiano's heart. She left him when they were eighteen and took many secrets with her. He's no longer the same, hes cruel and cold. They are thrown together again when they attend a funeral and it ignites the war between them again. He sees her sitting in the church pew with a wedding ring on her finger. I really enjoyed listening to Damiano and Renata's story. Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum did a great job of narrating the characters. I can't wait to read more by Parker S. Huntington.

Highly Recommend!

I loved the relationship that the characters shared. How after so many years they still had such an intense connection and that Damien was so confident that they belonged and would end up together.
I liked how the majority of the book was based around the main characters love story (and this author especially knows how to write great romances) but there was also the mob drama going in the background that kept it a little suspenseful and provides some extra drama.
And I’m a sucker for a HEA and this author does an amazing job at that as well. Highly recommend this one!
Both narrators did an amazing job and made the characters come to life. Their voices were authentic and didn’t feel forced. I especially love Zachary Webber’s voice, I’m pretty sure I could listen to him read the dictionary all day and be perfectly happy.

One of the best second chance and mafia romances!

Parker Huntington keeps wowing me after every story she writes. Zachary Webber and Desireé Ketchum did an amazing job narrating Damiano De Luca. De Luca is super charged and utterly addictive character! I loved and couldn’t get enough of the angsty and sexually charged story! Second chance storyline and a mafia romance? Yup, a few of my favorite things!

I’ve just started seeing Miss Ketchum in a few different narrations. I’ve enjoyed her narrations so much thus far and I keep see clearly that she is going to quickly move up to a favorite female narrator. Of course, Mr. Webber was enjoyable to listen. I’m really not sure this man can narrate anything that isn’t pure gold. De Luca was pure gold!

Renata and Damiano's second chance!

Damiamo DeLuca by Parker S. Huntington is an incredible second chance at love. I love how the author wrote these characters and gave them their second chance at love after waiting 10 years. This book is both a standalone listen and a completion of Renata. The story has some unexpected twists which I loved and did not expect. I love it when an author surprises me.
Zachary Webber and Desiree' Ketchum were magical bringing the characters to life. They really added to the book with their emotions. Desiree' really impressed me with her sassiness and spunk for Renata, and Zachary for Damiano. Its an outstanding listen!

A pretty good ending

The story was all right to me but I think out of all the five syndicate series, “Asher Black” was the best. I liked the humor of the first one, and the sexual chemistry of it too. This one was a little depressing, but it was still good. Zachary Webber made it better.

100 stars

I loved this! I have read the book a few months ago, one of the best in the mafia world but... when I saw Zachary was one of the narrator I had to have it. I am so in love with him.

First love and second chances

I really enjoyed this story, the narration by Zachery Webber and Desireé Ketchum was what brought the story to life for me. I've been a fan of Zachery Webber for a while now and he never seizes to disappoint.

I loved the quotes and references to other books within this story and it had me looking up the books which Damiano and Renata were reading. I loved the dynamic between them and enjoyed the storyline.

This was my first 'mafia' novel and my first Parker S Huntington book, definitely going to see which of her books to read next.

Emotional second chance romance

The one drawback to this story was the amount of flashbacks which were repeats of scenes from the prequel Renata Vitali. Apart from that it's a very moving storyline with plenty interesting characters from previous books in the series. The narrators did an excellent job in making the story come to life.

Delightful

This series is absolutely amazing. The characters are so well developed and the world has been so well built that you feel like you are watching the characters rather than listening to their story. They are passionate and twisted and amazing
