Terrible book

This book’s main character spend way too much time gushing over the vampire. I just wanted her to get to the story. I mean we get it he is sexy AF. She says this so many times it’s nauseating.

Way better than the first hbook!

I enjoyed Crush a million times more than Crave. It was less “teenage romance” and much more action filled and entertaining, but I must say that Grace’s inner monologues often get to be a little too much and have me thinking “OKAY GET TO THE POINT!” While it is a bit annoying, that does build a lot of suspense as we’re waiting to find out what happens in the more exciting scenes, so I’m not too bothered by it. I really dislike the narrators chosen for these books. She sounds like she’s a 50 year old woman and it just doesn’t quite fit. I don’t find she has the right voice for this type of book. The man who narrates at the very end is far worse, I could barely tell which character was talking as he read the characters.

Great read

I love this series so far and can’t wait to get into the rest, this one added a whole new vibe to the saga that I really appreciate. Also the narrator that read the last chapter Tim Paige had a fantastic reading. I would have actually wanted him to read the whole thing, or atleast the dialogue throughout because it would have made the experience 100x more enjoyable.

a great listen

First, I love Tavia, she is one of my favorite narators. This story had some great twists and turns fun characters and well I just enjoyed it. silly, suspenseful and a little tug at the geart strings.

ugh

This book is like walking through molasses; in an ice age. Its tedious to listen to. The book could be 2/3 shorter without the frivolous filler. For example (not actually in the book, surprisingly) person a: "he said okay in my head" "0kay? I said" person b:"what did he say?" Person a: "He said okay" Person b: "okay?" Person a: "yes, okay" Person b: "wow, okay" Etc infinity- I really enjoyed the first book, it was super parallel to Twilight (often too much so, get that copywrite money stephenie). And then this one, copy paste Harry Potter- paranormal soccer/quidditch, anyone? Several times I had to stop reading because it was simply, "too stupid" and yes, I said that aloud alone in my room. So why 2 stars? The lead character quit saying, "AF" and starting actually cussing, though even that was over kill. And because I'm going to finish it. I'm sincerely hoping that the 3rd installment is WAY less cringeworthy, but I would not put it passed Ms. Wolf (also, really?) to name Jaxon (400 year olds are not named Jaxon or Hudson btw) and Grace's baby EsmeRenee. The narrator's voice requires a great deal of patience. Several times she forgets to use different character voices. It also seems as though she has a slight speech impediment, be prepared for a minor lisp. skip this one and reread the Twilight and Harry Potter series again.

caution spoilers one word awesome!

definitely a good book however I really hope that the author incorporates Grace's time with Hudson at the beginning of the next book it would be really awesome to hear either her point of view or his but I do have to admit it would be pretty cool to hear his point of view of those event I think it would describe more about what kind of Gap or space he was in during his death and whatever space and time he was locked in. all I know is it is fucking awesome and I really hope that Grace doesn't forget who has really giving up truly everything for her without a second bit of hesitation and that would definitely be Hudson!

Epic story! Can’t wait for the next!

It’s such a great story and heather reads it so well. I can’t wait for the next book. The only downside is Tims British accent in the last chapter is really poor. It’s like a mixture of Queens English, Cockney and something I can’t quite work out. Every word is from a different part of England and it makes it difficult to listen to. Other than that it’s bloody fantastic !

Do a shot for everytime Grace says "not gonna lie"

Do a shot everytime she says it you'll be drunk by the end of each chapter! That was driving me nuts by the end of the book. The story dragged a little, but is a good set up for the third book.
