Keira

I always imagined that being the smart girl in college would be totally different then being the smart girl in high school.

Oh, how wrong I was.

Popular girls and cliques still exist in college — and they’re in the dorm next door.

But I should’ve known better.

I made the mistake of going to MSU, a football school that worships their athletes almost as much as they do Monday Night Football.

And the jocks of this school are essentially kings. Kings, who are only good for one thing: dirty daydreams.

Not that I have time for that. I’m here on an academic scholarship and I can’t let a single thing destroy my one chance at happiness.

But when I’m suddenly faced with my secret crush in high school, Nate Buckingham, star quarterback and every sophomore girl’s wet dream, I’m right back where I was at 15.

He may be hotter than ever, but we couldn’t be any more different.

And I’m too smart to fall for a chiseled jaw and a gorgeous smile.

So why am I suddenly weak in the knees and damp between my thighs with every glance he sends my way?

Nate

Nate Buckingham, aka ‘The Buck’, aka, ‘Big man on campus.’

God, how I hate those f*cking titles.

Don’t get me wrong, there are perks to being, ripped, six-two, and the star quarterback.

And most of those perks come in short skirts and cheerleading uniforms.

But that’s all they can be...perks.

Because I’ve got my eye on the prize, and one wrong hookup could throw off my entire game.

I’m so close to finishing school and getting drafted – when she shows up.

Wicked smart, with fiery green eyes and messy bun, newly arrived freshman, Keira Wells, has been the source of many late-night spank-bank sessions since my high school days.

But all she’s ever seen in me was a jock who played on — and off — the field.

And even though she acts like she can’t stand me, I see the heat in her eyes. The desire that she tries to fight when I catch her watching me.

Our connection is undeniable.

And I’m tired of settling for the fantasy.

I want the real thing. I want Kiera.

But when we finally stop holding back, the rest of the world may be ready to pull us apart....

This is a full-length standalone college sports romance with a alpha hero and a spunky heroine. No cheating and HEA guaranteed.

Cute Nerd + Hot Jock = 🔥🔥

This story was so cute and loved every minute of it. Kiera and are were so cute together, they had great chemistry. I loved the fact that both had a secret crush on each other in high school and finally were able to admit how they felt. The narrator did an ok job but her was too high pitch for my liking.

Cute Geek + Jock Romance with some steam!

I am writing this review after getting a free ARC. I love a good unrequited love story that turns out that they both actually love each other!! This story is about Kira Wells a nerdy intellectual Freshman and Nate Buckingham also known as "Buck" the beloved Quarterback. This story was very interesting. I have never actually read or listened to a story that would go from one point of view, then go back in time and get the perspective from the other persons' point of view so that we could hear both persons' perspectives on love scenes and actions scenes and everything. It was very interesting. Sometimes a little tedious but mostly very interesting to get both Nate and Kira's side of the story in everything. Kira was a strong female, who stood up for herself which I appreciated. Nate had times where I loved him and I hated him, but overall a happy ending. I ended up enjoying this book! I have to say that I wish that there was also a male narrator. The female narrator did great with the female voice but TERRIBLE with the male voice!!! Since the book's timeline went back and forth so much, sometimes I forgot who was talking and since the narrator didn't even try to deepen her voice with the male character, I had now idea which character was talking. Maybe Shae think about getting a male and female narrator team next time?

Love sports romance

I loved this audio! It kept me on my toes until the very end. Shae Sullivan did an amazing job with this book and I can not wait to read/listen to more books from this author. The narrator did a great job with this audio although it did take me a couple of chapters before I could decide if I liked her but she did an amazing job. Keira and Nate do not seem like your typical college couple. Nate is a football player and Keira is a book nerd. Nate has always had a thing for her but can he prove to her that he wants her for her and not just her brains. I just loved this audio! I have received a free copy of this audio for an honest review.

YA Romance

Not a big fan of the narration. Story line itself was good. Smart girl freshman girl. Smart football jock. They are from the same hometown and meet again at college. Both had crushes on each other from their high school days and still find each other attractive. This is their story about getting together and the obstacles they face. I was a little annoyed by the duel point of view. I think the story was retold the whole way through with very little Change. If I was reading the book I would have skipped a lot.

nice story

This was a good YA sports romance. It was well written and the storyline was entertaining. I did get this book for free in exchange for an honest review so I have no problem recommending it to others.

Geek & Jock Romance

Well the story was sweet. I'm not personally a fan of college romance with the high school drama but this wasn't too bad. Keira and Nate's romance was so weird... Nate pretty much went from dating and fooling around with a popular girl to trying to find Keira (the geek) so she could help him pass his classes. But when they do meet up he has a hard on and confesses his feelings for her, not creepy at all LOL. Anyway then they jump into this whirlwind romance and make out in the coffee shop then pretty much transition into having sex in a study room. It was so quick. The fall out between them was a tad childish but I guess that was to be expected. Like I said it was overall cute and maybe just not my cup of tea. I did not like the narrator at all, she sounded very young. When the sex scenes came up I was cringing a bit, I just couldn't get into it. She also didn't really change her voice for the male either so quite a few times I forgot who was talking.

Good listen

I enjoyed listening to Keira and Nate's story. There was plenty of chemistry, along with drama and wonderful secondary characters. There is a small hiccup in chapter 14 (which I have informed the author of) so hopefully this will be resolved. Viola, overall did a great job with narration - although the male and female voices were pretty similar.
