Beautifully original which is refreshing. Liv can weave an intensely descriptive tale! Yes there is graphic detail around rot, which I found almost tangible. Cannot wait for the second part!

I have more or less given up on dark fantasy as its always the same tropes and lazy writing but wow this book was fantastic.

Fantstic quality of writing. Simple premise, small cast, but so fantastic. I had to actually cancel my evening plans to finish the book in a day...

I enjoyed the grim and gory details of this book, it's not a la-dee-dah romance and a nice change from my usual genres. The ending was not a surprise, you can guess that's how things will go but still a great listen. The character build up was paced well and spicy scenes very delicious.
