Publisher's Summary

In Crossing Over, John brings his listeners with him on the extraordinary journey that has been his life since his New York Times best seller One Last Time was published in 1998. In the style of his TV show and personal appearances (poignant, funny, and remarkably candid) John deals head-on with the controversial issues he has confronted on his voyage as a psychic medium. Listeners might be surprised to learn that it hasn't always been smooth sailing. On the way to becoming an internationally celebrated medium, John has had to learn his own lessons about the meaning of his work and about the motivations of some of the people he has met on his path.

incredible

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love and respect John's honesty and openess of his journey. I would love a reading with John however, right now is out of my league regarding the cost but will save to achieve this. I recommend this book to everyone. God Bless

I believe

I believed while heartily that what John has to say about the afterlife is true.

Love the book - however....

I loved the book, however whoever put the upbeat music in, must be a publicist with no sense - the book is brilliant on its own - ie: ditch the music!

Intriguing and entertaining

I loved this book. I'd never seen the show "Crossing Over" so didn't know what to expect.
Edwards is a breath of fresh air. He's devoid of new age attitude, his humour (often self depracating) intelligence and sincerity had me hooked from the first chapter. The stories of spirit contact are fascinating, funny, and touching, and it was virtually impossible for me to imagine that they were fabricated.

I don't have a firm belief in spirit communication or life after death but always wanted to find evidence solid enough to convince me of it's existance.

I can't put my finger on what makes Edwards shine among the many who claim to communicate with spirits, but he has a gift (which I *hope* is not the ability to fool people)
I don't think anything less than a personal experience could do more than John's writing to make me a believer.

Couldn't stop listening once I started

I loved it! I have followed John for years. As he told his story about his mom and lung cancer I really identified with him, but I was one of my mom's main caregivers for the last year and a half that she lived. I have three younger sisters and being able to attend a seminar would be great but we are scattered around.

My 2nd Audio Book from John Edward

This is my second audio book from John Edward and needless to say, it was absolutely insightful and engaging. Narrated by John himself, he takes you on a journey that launched his career to where he is today. A must for anyone who has read or listened to his first book, "One Last Time". Enjoy.

More than what have been seen

It was very interesting to know what was behind the TV series. Bu most amazing was the conclusion, the final purpose, why he is doing what he does

fascinating

this is an easy listen and fascinating group of stories. I also like it when an author reads their own work and this is extra nice because of his familiar voice.
