Publisher's Summary

History isn't always what it seems....

Twelve months after his change, Alec MacAidan is still getting used to his many vampire talents. While most vampires would give anything to have more than one supernatural power, Alec craves nothing more than peace and time alone with Cronin. But when Alec meets entities from outside this realm, he's left powerless in their presence.

Zoan are half-lycan, half-dragon creatures that have slipped through time and reality, seemingly undetected by man and vampire. Or have they? They bear an uncanny resemblance to gargoyles, leaving Alec's view on all things weird to get a whole lot weirder.

This new quest leads Alec, Cronin, and their band of friends to Paris, Rome, and Moscow, where they learn that gargoyles aren't simply statues on walls. In the underground pits beneath churches all over the world, Alec discovers the Key's true destiny. Facing the Zoan might take every talent he has. And he may need help from the dead to get them all out alive.

I don't want it to be over!

This has been an awesome series. I hope N. R. will consider continuing it. I know she has other brilliant books. Cronin and Alec just grabbed at my heart. I love their entire team.

Alec and co final adventure

I was not prepared for the heartbreak in this. Soooooo not prepared. N.R. Walker can write scenes that will have you crying like no other. Alec and family are called once upon to save the world and they are doing it with quite a bit of flair what with Alec being a very, Very, VERY powerful vampire. But even so as Eiji said it is time for them to take it easy after this. So much history, geography, myths and legends throughout the series, paired with adventure, romance, humor and heartbreak. A truly do not miss series with impeccable narration from Joel Leslie.

Cronin's Key series & Joel Leslie 💕

This is one of the best series. Joel Leslie brings the characters to life and NR Wlaker combines history, fantasy and romance into a spellbinding series! I can't wait fir book 4 on Audio. I already own all 4 in book form. Alec and his gang are so compelling, that I go back to visit and listen often!

Great story and best narration ever!

I love all the books in this series. N R Walker has a fantastic imagination and her mix of fact and fiction is mind be singly believable. Joel Leslie is my favorite narrator. His mastery of so many different accents is amazing and seem less. I have listened to this series four times now and it never gets old. I highly recommend both the author, the series, and the narrator.

A Great Ending...

There are two things about this series that I found intriguing and enticing...the way in which the author, N. R. Walker intertwined history into the story and presenting it as plausible and the dynamic narrative talents of Joel Leslie. From the beginning, the reader/listener longed to have happily ever after for Alec and Cronin, which the ending seems to suggest that they received their HEA, for at least 250 plus years. This story makes one look at gargoyles in a different light and allows one to travel all over the world, again. A great finish to the series and a great series for one to get lost in the plausible possibilities.

Brilliant narration and excellent story

I have to congratulate the narrator, Joel Leslie. The number of perfect accents, tones, pronunciation, male, female and emotive wording blew me away. Thank you! The story was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It kept my attention, referred to actual history and locations and was totally believable. Love the characters and characterisation. Just fab!

Fabulous

A wonderful book made AWESOME by Joel Leslie's incredible narration. So many different voices and accents all easily distinguishable. I sobbed over Horhae and Idelmo, more than when I read it myself. This series is so very recommended!
