The second volume of Critter Catchers sees Demmy and Cody, owners of an animal pest control company, tangle with more supernatural creatures. Here they wrangle Big Foot, a mysterious Loch Ness monster, and a vengeful alpha werewolf who endangers the whole town of Parsons Hollow. Romance-wise, Demmy and Cody are an established couple with marriage on the cards, if they last that long!

This has been a pleasantly entertaining series, heavier on the romance and lighter on the supernatural side. All that changes in the finale where the whole town faces grave danger and characters from all the previous books make cameo appearances. Demmy and Cody are thoroughly decent guys. They’re deeply in love and they act selflessly to protect others. The tone is light and fun with occasional spice and danger. 🎧 US voice actor Zachary Zaba matches the light and breezy tone, although he can sound rushed at times. The audiobook doesn’t include the extra novella.
