About this listen
Perfect for fans of forbidden love, high-stakes games, and everything supernatural. Creatures of Chaos is a fast-paced YA urban fantasy series that’s being called The Serpent and the Wings of Night meets Crave.
Chaos, the vicious supernatural competition where heroes are born and riches are won.
To most, it's just an urban legend whispered in the darkest shadows, but that all changes when my best friend drags me into a savage world where vampires, shifters, and fae compete for glory and fame.
As a creature without magic, I’d be a fool to enter Chaos, but the prize—a dagger of untold power—could change my powerless existence. With that dagger, I could wield magic, earn respect, and maybe, just maybe, win the heart of the dragon heir… it’s a risk I have to take.
Now, I'm pitted against beasts in a ruthless battle with no powers, no plan, and an infuriatingly attractive ally who’s just as likely to slit my neck as save it. Every round of Chaos leads me closer to seizing my deepest desires or losing everything.
In Chaos, survival is the only rule. And winning is all that matters.

In anticipation of the recent release of Kingdom of Chaos, I was compelled to listen to Creatures of Chaos.
You know it's gonna be a fun time when Julie Hall applies ink to her thoughts,
In this fun academic setting we follow the 1st person POV of FMC, Locklyn, who is one of the few non magic weilding students at her school. She is best friends with fun, perky, girls-girl, Ensley and her twin bro, Becks, Locklyns childhood heartthrob.
When an opportunity to win the ability to wield magic presents itself, Locklyn doesn't think twice and enters into the Chaos Trials.
The world building and character development was flawless and blended into the storyline seamlessly, making this easy to read. I had lots a fun.
I am also really intrigued with the second MMC, Talon. I needed more of him.
Locklyn made me so proud throughout this book. She doesn't allow the fact that she has no magic, to define her. She takes on life's challenges with grace and her head high. And in the face of adversity, she always sticks to her bones and will stand true, unwaveringly.
The cliff hanger ending came out of nowhere. It was a literal WTF moment.
Also the character art is amazing. All the art work is featured in the book.
Now I am so ready for Kingdom of Chaos.
Fun, trials, academia, slow burn romantasy
