Kythiel, a kylorr who is a gargoyle\vampire alien and Millie's story is very different from Azer and Gemma. Kythiel meets Millie at blood giving uh restaurant (closest thing I can think to compare it too) a nd the moment he scents her her wants her to be his blood giver only to suspect she's his kirania (blood mate). They're are a few moving parts in this story due house arada and Kythiel planning to marry their daughter for duty and they get up to bad things trying to stop him being with Millie. Kythiel has to work through his demons and choose love over duty...
In my opinion I don't think it had as much spice as book 1 but still had so much love for this book. It broke me in some parts just like book 1. I wish i coukd give this more than 5 stars. It was just outstanding. There's no comparsion I can make to another audio book.
The narrators didn't do a half bad job. I highly recommend giving this series a go.
