Funny

Where does Craic Dealer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I liked this comic performance. It was witty and engaging. Reminded me a bit of an Irish Jim Gaffigan. I would listen to him again, certainly.

What other book might you compare Craic Dealer to and why?

Jim Gaffigan, and Kathleen Madigan.

Have you listened to any of Dara O Briain’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I watched some of his comic specials on HBO.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Great live stand-up comedy

This is an hour and a half of Dara O'Briain's show taped in Edinburgh. A great mixture of his tried and tested stand-up as well as his sharp comedy based on interacting with the audience. If you like his style on TV shows such as Mock the Week, this will have you chuckling along and listening again.

Hahahahahahahaha

Cried with laughter. Not for the weak bladdered. Excellent. A great pick me up for those cold winter nights.

One of Dara's Best

Having seen all of Dara's gigs on DVD, Craic Dealer is one of his oft overlooked yet finest (just mho!). Rakes of laugh out loud stories and moments, great audience riffing and shout outs (things to say to a burglar had me in tears; listen out for what the woman shouts that had Dara laughing his head off!) Whipped through this in one sitting and was grand to hear it again! Recommended to lift the spirits at anytime.

Full body laughing!

Listened while driving and absolutely roaring the whole time. Audio balance a little off so had to have it at crazy high volume.

Epic

This had tears rolling down my face with laughter. Simply could not rate it higher. Brilliant but slightly dangerous to listen to while driving. Should have a caution notice included - do not listen to while operating machinery.
