The story sounds promising, but I had to give up in chapter 7. The narrators were not selling me on the characters. Izzy’s voice was fine, the male leads voice was just a big NO. I did not get bad ass dangerous alpha vibes, more like my dad the middle aged accountant with a receding hairline vibes. I’ll go try the printed version.

The first book I didn’t love. Second book was great and this book 🥰 loved the dynamic. Loved that he loved her enough to protect her. I felt her pain and her fury at the end ❤️

I enjoyed this book, but really did not enjoy the male narration, so much I stopped listening and read the book instead. Male narrator did not feel like a good fit for the character.

This book just really wasn't my style. Plot basis sounded good but the characters are thirsty and cringey for my personal taste.

On chapter 5 and have stopped - female narrator is fine though mispronounces some words (dinent not didn't) but as soon as the male narrator started I stopped. He sounds like a 60 year old man, just not suited for the "badass mafia" character at all.
