Usually don’t leave reviews but thought i would on this trilogy. This was the last trilogy if the interconnecting series of Kirelli, Rai, and Adrian. Have enjoyed all 3, but am glad this was my last rather than first of the three.
1st book was in many ways confusing, half of the second book was not really necessary, and i nearly stopped at one point, but second half bought many things together. Third book intertwined and concluded. Not as predictable as most suspense books, and well worth chugging past the very violent sex scenes, especially in book 2, perhaps its me, but cannot see the being whipped with a belt is at all gratifying.

What an amazing end to this story. So many twists, that I just wasn’t sure what was going to happen next. Kept me guessing. This is my favourite of the trilogy. Just awesome.
Narration was awesome too.

I used to love books like this but am struggling with them in the current climate of so much domestic violence and sexual assault in the news.

I really enjoyed the storyline, but the forced sexual violence was too much in my opinion. It also got ridiculous that she constantly got turned on no matter how angry she had been or how unreasonable or sadistic he got. No safe words were offered because she genuinely had no say and no safety.

All up a disappointing result from a promising start. Perhaps a kinder edit would help? A safe word even?

On a positive note, it feels good to know I have grown as reader which is a plus right?
