A very well written easy to listen to story line. I have listened to a lot of Elizas books and I find thank you they have great characters and different venues, easy to listen to!

Back in those days the Scots were a hardy lot constantly changing their alliances. The hero had an uphill battle to secure the heroine’s respect and love given how she’d been treated by her husband. However, he persevered and won the battle thus winning the widowed heroine’s heart. Numerous side characters played parts in bringing them together to ensure that there would be a HEAfter.

It was refreshing to listen to a Highlander tale set in this era.
