Publisher's Summary

It's been precisely 10,000 days since Kate met the most gorgeous man alive. The man she married. The man with whom she built a life. The man who died. Kate still sleeps with her husband's T-shirt, but it doesn't smell of Luke any more. She misses him every day.

One morning, Kate wakes up back at college. She's 18 years old. She remembers everything. And she realises that this is the week that she will meet Luke for the first time. What if the man you lost could be found again?

But then, what if he doesn't know he's lost? And what if he's still just a boy? The debut novel from Robert Webb, Come Again is a time-travelling romance about living in the moment, love before death and life before the internet.

Incredible Book

You get completely caught up in this wonderful time travelling story. It’s so emotional and realistic and Olivia Coleman’s narration is superb. Don’t delay in listening to this. Can’t wait for his next novel.

Even Olivias performance can’t save this book

Okay, so I love listening to/reading fiction as an escape from daily stresses, but this story is just so far fetched it’s painful. The last hour and a half had me rolling my eyes at the unbelievable turn of events (and there were many).

From the description I was expecting a story about love, longing and loss (like normal people or time travellers wife) but instead it was more like a sixth formers creative writing project. The plot was too outlandish, the characters not believable and the crass language and jokes I found...unfunny. Sorry, even though Olivia performed it well, this was not an enjoyable listen.

A Letdown

I really wanted to like this book because I loved How Not to be a Boy. However, I found his follow-up to be be a cheese-fest from start to finish. Like a Richard Curtis film - only worse.

I’m sure some will love it but it just wasn’t for me.

Any positives? The chapters where she revisits their youths are okay - and Olivia Cole gives it her all. But even she can’t save it.

Actually wonderful

Didn't even realise Olivia Coleman was going to read this until I heard her, a Brucie bonus to a brilliant book. I laughed and I cried, wish I could go back in time and read it again for the first time.

Wonderful

It's most people's dream to have the physical youthfulness with the wisdom of age. This book is just wonderfully written and amazingly narrated. I can't recommend it enough.

Wonderful

It’s like 3 books all rolled into one. Thoroughly enjoyable listening. Olivia Coleman is unsurprisingly wonderful - would you expect anything less.

All three parts are quite different, but they worked. I would recommend for any Jodi Taylor fans.

A good story but in places OTT

Webb's depiction of love and loss felt very real, conveying the despair and reality of grief but some aspects of the plot were a bit far-fetched. I enjoyed the descriptions of York in the early 1990s and the time travel aspect of the story was well-conceived. However the third section of the novel veered off into a fast-paced car chase adventure which seemed at odds with the rest of the book. I would still recommend it though.

Brilliant

A lovely quirky story. You can hear Robert Webb’s voice coming through Olivia Colman. His imagination but her wonderful delivery!
I got to the end and immediately went back to the beginning.

LOVED this book!

So funny! So well written! So well read! Olivia Colmann was perfect!

Had not idea this was Robert Webb of Mitchell and Webb until afterwards, (doh), but that made sense. This is witty, well paced and has a clever ending.

I want another one!
