This was a beautiful story with so many elements, twists, and turns. The characters were wonderful and their journeys intriguing. Not only did I enjoy the main characters, whom I loved, but the side characters were lovable as well. Unfortunately for me, I accidentally listened to the books in the wrong order, so I already loved Dante from listening to his story in the next two books. Though I wish I had listened to this book first, because we see a different side of him than in his story.

The performances were remarkable, and the voices suited the characters.

Without spoiling anything, the only thing I wish was different was a particular sad part that had lasting effects. Although I know it gave the story more meaning/triumphs and would be appreciated by many for not being so cliché and predictable.

The three books in one were such a great value, and from someone who usually skips a lot through impatience, I enjoyed every bit of it.

The authors are very talented, and the trilogy is very entertaining and worth listening to.
