guys… I’m not okay
I freaking loved this book. Luna Mason once again completely knocked it out of the park with Claim, and I honestly think Mikhail might be one of my favorite book boyfriends ever. Everything about this man was chef’s kiss. The quiet power, the way he protected Ana, the mask scene at the end?? Yeah, I sobbed. My heart could not handle it 😭
And let’s talk about Anastasia easily my favorite Luna FMC to date! She’s a total baddie with a sassy attitude that had me grinning constantly. The chemistry between her and Mikhail was electric, and every single interaction between them had me fully invested from start to finish. Also, I’m such a sucker for pets in books, and Hades completely stole my heart. His little protector role for Ana? Adored it. 🐺
It was such a treat seeing glimpses of the Beneath the Mask characters again (hello, nostalgia), and the little tease of Enzo’s story? Say less. I’ve been dying to know more about him and cannot wait for his duet he’s always been wrapped in mystery and intrigue. As sad as I am to close the door on this chapter, I know Luna will find a way to weave them into future stories, and I’ll be holding onto that hope tightly.Huge shoutout to Lucy Rivers and JF Harding for their incredible audiobook narration. They brought Mikhail and Ana to life and gave the story even more emotional depth. If you’re an audiobook lover, don’t skip this one.
