About this listen

From best-selling Western author B.D. Kennedy comes Cheyenne Trail, a blockbuster new Western that takes on the West with full-force. If you like your Westerns action-packed, fast-paced and filled with the bodies of dead murderers...you will love this new Western adventure from one of the great Western storytellers of today.

Fresh from West Point, Lieutenant Holcome is expecting a nice cushy job serving in the back water of the army as a quartermaster. His father, a congressman, has different plans for his son and has a high-ranking general send him off to the Wyoming Territory, where there is an Indian uprising underway. Lieutenant Holcome is forced to grow up fast as he is assigned to quartermaster the relief column taking desperately needed supplies to Fort Steele, located in the heart of the uprising.

The lieutenant is taken under the wing of the column commander, Colonel Sutton, against his wishes as they march off to bring relief to Fort Steele. The column comes under siege by marauding Indians and is soon cut off from the trail as the Indians massacre the troopers. Colonel Sutton is forced to take desperate action and sends Lieutenant Holcome on a death defying ride to garner reinforcements from the beleaguered fort.

This is the gritty story that takes the listener on a life and death battle against the bloodthirsty savages of the Wyoming frontier.
