Publisher's Summary

Gather an escort. Acquire a dragon hoard. Build an empire...

Steven Drokharis knew that embracing his destiny as one of the most powerful Dragonsouls to ever live would be difficult, but he had no idea that he’d be pushed to his very limits.

Ten days after rescuing Aria and ending the life of an insane Dragonskin, Steven and his escort find themselves going toe-to-toe with Rhaegen Mulk - the deadly Dragonsoul responsible for the death of Steven’s parents. And Rhaegen Mulk doesn’t fight fair. He will pull out all the stops to end Steven before he can grow his escort and establish a primacy of his own. If Steven is going to win, he’ll need to level up his skills as a Dragonsoul, discover the next volume of forbidden Drokharis magic, and make friends with an ancient, half-mad Dragonsoul, who may be even more dangerous than Mulk.

Now it’s time to hit back. Hard. Mulk and his lackeys are about to learn an important lesson: Steven doesn’t fight fair either....

Uh why did I buy this book?

I'm returning these books because the writing is so lazy. Yes this is a harem book and is ment to be erotic but come on at least try to develope your magic system beyond the most basic, most annoying, most uninspired kind I have ever read. I mean WTF is she studying in those tomes all you do is say magica curea or magica defensia. Just repleace the last two or one letter of a word with an a or ia SO COMPLEX! I'm going to read the rest of the book just in case I am way off base here but having read the first book and a third of this one I doubt it. If you want good harem erotic books read Wild Waste and Super Sales on Super Heros. That second one isn't that erotic but it is really good. Kinda plays into the Wild Waste. They have a sort of multiverse that is very intersting.

Really enjoying this series

must be the nerd in me but I love the leveling up and the magic, the fact that they can shift into dragons and hot women makes it perfect

Eager for More

Stephen and the Ladies are the back, and things hit the fan really fast. I tell you this one had me on the edge of my seat. It still managed to be fun and very sexy. I hate harem books that don't deliver on the fun between the sheets and drown you in fight scenes. Luckily this has the perfect mix with a great world building system of magic and leveling up. I adore this series and want more. Hell I want spin offs!

Polygamy in practice

This story has some bouncy quirks to it, but I havent listened to any another harem stories that base the success of the character on polygamy. I like the story, mainly because of the dragon aspect - who doesnt like dragons? There are a couple of holes in the story, but I'm hoping book 3 will address them.

Need the next one

Second book down, and I need another dose of dragon goodness. If it takes too long to get here, I'll have to start all over.

A very good read

As you read along you find the main character has not only to find new wives but get 💰but to learn magic. It keep me in the edge of my seat with new truth of how his father died. Would to continue this Audible in the next book.

Like the story, narrator could use some emotion

I am enjoying the story but the narrator just lacks emotion and some of the characters all sound alike. I sometimes lose track of who is talking.

not perfect but lots of fun

so this was a good follow-up I wasn't happy with some of the plot points like going back to being broke as hell or how our boy was such a cocky bastard that he didn't consider his enemies might actually pose a serious threat to him but overall fun entertaining and while I assumed that our boy would survive there was a very real threat that made for great tension surrounding the girls

Dragon Fantastico

After flying through the books i was overjoyed to get this the 2nd audio. As good as books are sometimes the audio just brings out the extra and in this case it does.
JPC is still doing a masterful job and if anything perhaps better than the 1st in series. I was also happy to hear some real bits coke alive morw so hearing them than reading then which helped a lot in catching small clues i missed my first time round.
All I can say is I can't wait till the 3rd audio is out as i shall be 1st in the line.
I requested this audio and have left my thoughts on this for you to peruse.
