The quietest road trip ever with Charlie and chocolate factory playing
This was the first audiobook that my 3 children have listened to. Never before in a car trip have I had so many hours of quiet. Highly recommend. My children are 4,6,8 and they all enjoyed and asked for another one straight away.

a truly wonderful book
I love Road Dahl's books and this is one his best. slightly different to both the film's. I'm always fascinated by the interpretations of Willy wonkas mannerisms as it feels every one seems to have a different idea of how he is.

Would you consider the audio edition of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to be better than the print version?
I would consider it to be just as good, and a joy to listen to.

I enjoyed the scene when Charlie finally got the last Chocolate bar containing the winning ticket.

Best children's book I have ever listened to. Nice short chapters easy to listen to and it makes your mouth water at the thought of such wonderful food. A Wonderful Childhood Memory
Hearing this story again returned me to the happy childhood memories when I read the book on many occasions. Reading it again was inspired by being taken to see the stage musical in London for a Birthday treat. It remains a timeless classic and not only for children.
