I really enjoyed this werewolf story, unlike really all the others of a similar theme that I've read or listened to, this story focuses on becoming a werewolf a the core focus of the whole book, rather than the usual life as a werewolf. I didn't particularly like the main male lead character nor really any of the males other than her dad but I did really like the main female character and her friends and thought her rival hound really recognisable as the man girl and her pose. I did like this pair of books, I just wish the individual books were longer and this was just the beginning of a much longer series.

The Narrator was also really good, nothing to complain about, her voices fleshed out individual personalities really well, I will checkout other titles Elizabeth Austin has narrated.

Very different take.
