This was a very nice basic predictable story with no grit or character development unfortunately slightly boring to be honest. The voice actors did very well with that material

The story was boring with elements that could have made it great. There was no build up of tension which made the story feel like it was missing something. There was inconsistencies within the narrative.

Nice book, I love reed and his little nephew. I would have loved more moments with the nephew.

Not a fan unfortunately. The female narrator’s voice was very whiny and I couldn’t get used to it. A few cringey moments with the child too - unrealistic.

I dont know if it was the voices, or the way they spoke.
There were some inconsistencies, like one minute they're going to the aquarium and the same night he tells Holland he wants to take her somewhere special because he doesn't have to get Evan until that afternoon.

This was good, but there's was potential for better.

Truly, lovely story, I thought it was filled with lots of love, different types of love, and in the end this is a true romantic story. I really enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was going to be a fun hockey romance. But the MMC experiences grief and loss and ends up caring for his nephew while the FMC cares for her dad who has Dementia. The characters grow together and fall for one another. Great side characters too. I really enjoyed it. Would recommend.

It was an easy listen. Not much guts or suspense. I did enjoy it. Listened while I was doing housework and ironing.

Will definitely listen to story two though.

This was such a gorgeous story that was not only excellently performed, but had the best MMC I’ve read in a WHILE. This was such a heartfelt story and to be able to read the growing relationship between Reed and his Nephew was just absolutely adorable. I think I cried and laughed more than I have for ANY other book. This story will always have a place in my heart. Although it is sad that there aren’t more men like this IRL.
