I was hoping to learn the detailed history of Champagne, including the particular histories of the most famous Champagne houses. Instead this book is a much more generic and sometimes trivial look at Champagne. More like a Wikipedia article than an expert guide. It’s good, but there’s a lot missing.

Wikipedia article, not expert guide
