First Ryan Michel novel but definitely not the last.
Well developed characters.
Loved following Cade & Trixie's journey.
Their connection is everything.
Great narration.
Good humour.
Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!Currently reading book 2 but Stiff is no Cade 🎆

It’s very unlikely I will finish this book, unfortunately Kendall Taylor’s narration just doesn’t fit with romance novels imo. I have tried and tried to warm up to it. I have listened to plenty of audiobooks with her narrating hoping that I will get used to her voice but for me (I totally appreciate this different for everyone) I find it hard to imagine the character she is voicing is anything other than a small, elderly, bogan, who smokes too many cigarettes. To me it’s very unappealing. So unappealing I have given the story and overall category’s 1 star bc if I can’t listen long enough to know if the story is any good bc of the narrator well that’s a problem.
