Great story with interesting twists. I struggled a little with the names of characters but still thoroughly enjoyed. I read both books twice and would read again.

it took me a little bit to get used to the unusual character names and world/planet/galaxy they live in but once i understood it, i was able to enjoy the story more and now i love it. already have the next book ready to go!

Emily Rankin is a wonderful narrator and she reads majority of the book, I was less impressed with Austin Butler but the story made up for that. The characters are well developed and the story was very interesting. Definitely worth a try.

A fascinating and well thought out universe

The characters in this story were portrayed as belonging to the worst of any tribal existence imaginable. Not very uplifting to listen to personal struggles about trying to be the worst of the worst. Most un-clever plot I have found in a book in recent memory.

this story was overly detailed in areas, and missed others. too fussed around the personal stories of the main characters. no where near as good as her first series.
