surprisely I enjoyed this book. I laugh quite a few times. the narrator has done an excellent job. I'm a huge fan of anything action, mystery and thrillers, so having listened out of my normal genres, john sandford, David baldacci, karin slaughter, this kept me entertained.

This was a good, somewhat predictable, read and kept me engaged in the plot whilst I worked (vs the ones where I go “what just happened?”). The heroine did annoy me sometimes with her poor decision making, which made me wonder why everyone was so attached to her. I enjoyed the hit man best - very likeable.
The narrator sounded fairly natural, although somewhat bored mostly, and had excellent comedic timing, but she needs to vary her repertoire of characters’ voices as most sounded too similar to each other.
