The banter in this book is CHEF’S KISS! The chemistry, the storyline, the spiiiiiice!!! Great audiobook! Fun and entertaining! Definitely my favourite in the series!

The way my jaw dropped at the end haha I can’t believe Diego is alive. I really enjoyed how both books( one a two) linked in with each other. I enjoyed this book very very much. I read the physical copy before I listen to the audible and all I can say is I enjoyed both.

liked the characters. funny and sooo loving to love. narrators did justice to the characters. storyline is good but did not expound why MFC is soo sub when she wants control. overall, recommendable and good to listen to.

The tension, story, narration and spice was were amazing, but the witty banter was UNREAL. I actually laughed out loud CONSTANTLY which I *never* do.

Even though you could read this as a standalone, I would recommend reading the previous book in the series first, as the background of Sloane-Nat’s friendship is important context to give this story depth, as well as to understand Kage and this mafia world properly.
That said, even though I would give book 1 a 6-7/10 overall, this one was a solid 11/10.

I’m glad I listened to this over the weekend, had to devour this book in under a day.
Also, I did not expect such a juicy cliffhanger.

There were certain conversations in this book that will live rent free in my brain for quite a while.
