Publisher's Summary

Alice Wilkenson grew up with the Hastings brothers. She's always viewed them as family more than friends, and the feeling is mutual. Annoying, interfering, and frustrating to have seven brothers constantly on the look out for you. But one brother starts keeping a closer eye on Alice than the others: Calvin.

Calvin Hastings works hard on the family ranch. From operating heavy machinery, working cattle, and tending horses, the ranch keeps him busy. However, he finds himself making more and more time to check in on Alice. He finds her infiltrating his thoughts more than she used to, and he hasn't quite figured out how he feels about that.

Can Alice view Calvin as more than a friend?

Can Calvin show Alice that friendship can lead to love?

well done

Really enjoyed the first two books in the series. The narrator James R. Cheatham gives everyone a unique sound to their voices so you know who's talking, even the women. Great job! I look forward to the rest of the series.
