I grew up with a dad who believed he was a woman and who wanted me to call him mom.
We live in a time when the focus is on the person who is transitioning and to champion their cause, but what about the family members who are forced to go through the transition process with them?
Stories like mine are discarded and labeled as collateral damage. We are asked to pretend like everything is okay, but the reality is, everything is not okay.

As a child my ability to choose was taken from me, and therefore, my freedom went with it. This is a story of a child who refused to bend the truth, and the struggle to regain his freedom.
