Ten years ago, a one-night stand got me pregnant and disappeared.

Now, he's standing on my doorstep. And he's not leaving until I let him in.

But even if I wanted to, I can't. And even if I could, I wouldn't.

Because Konstantin Aminoff is a world of danger, and my life has plenty of that as it is.

I've got a possessive addict for an ex and a creepy lurker for a landlord. I've got an agent who's sick of me and a former boss who's trying to ruin me.

Most of all, I've got a nine-year-old son who needs me to be his mother.

So no, Mr. Aminoff, I can't let you in. You're one fire this caged rose won't survive.

I say everything to his face, just like that. He looks me in the eye, smirks, and says…

"Too damn bad. Guess you're coming with me."

Caged Rose is the first book in the Aminoff Bratva duet from bestselling mafia romantic suspense author Naomi West. Kon and Iris's story carries on into book two, Caged Thorn.

I’m a huge lover of mafia/criminal underworld romance novels, and Caged Rose didn’t disappoint. The slow burn romance that develops after the opening chapters had me hooked. It was a ‘will they won’t they’ dynamic that had my toes curling when one of them slipped and showed the other just how smitten they were. I will definitely be picking up the second audiobook when it’s released in April.

Overall it was well written and a good read although there was much self deprecating inner and verbal monologue.
