Publisher's Summary

From #1 New York Times bestselling phenomenon Sylvia Day comes a hotly anticipated and passionate new love story.

Once, I would never have imagined myself here. But I’m settled now. In a place I love, in a home I renovated, spending time with new friends I adore, and working a job that fulfills me. I am reconciling the past and laying the groundwork for the future.

Then Garrett Frost moves in next door.

He’s obstinate and too bold, a raging force of nature that disrupts the careful order of my life. I recognize the ghosts that haunt him, the torment driving him. Garrett would be risky in any form, but wounded, he’s far more dangerous. I fear I’m too fragile for the storm raging inside him, too delicate to withstand the pain that buffets him. But he’s too determined…and too tempting.

And sometimes hope soars above even the iciest desolation.

Emotional and heartrending, Butterfly in Frost marks a brilliant return by global sensation Sylvia Day, the #1 international multimillion bestselling author of the Crossfire saga.

Loved It!!

You can't compare this to Cross Fire, It is completely different and it drives me nuts when people do that. I go into each book with an open mind.

I loved the narrators, I would of loved to hear more Joe Arden but I felt like Emma Wilder was perfect for her character.

I loved that we got updates on the Crossfire main characters, That was an added bonus. I love Ava!!

Without giving anything away I loved the end. I wasn't excepting it for some reason.

It wasn't what I excepted at all and I wish it would of been a lot longer just because I love Sylvia Day and her books. I recommend it. It had just the right amount of love, story, and lust. It wasn't missing anything and the end summarized everything.

loved!!

OMG!!! I totally didn't see that twist!! This book was so good!! I am speechless and am trying not to say anything to give this away! This book is a must in my opinion. My only complaint is that I didn't want it to end, wanted more!! I believe there was so much more that could be added. Maybe it will be a series??

Emma Wilder and Joe Arden are great!

Listen twice

This is one of those stories you'll want to hear twice. Especially after the ending, I won't post any spoilers though. I do like the fact that Sylvia touched on the grief of losing someone close to you, not simply right after but the struggles that come months later. The narrative was excellent and I really enjoyed this book.

Finding Their Way

I loved this story and the way it spoke to such complicated issues. Heartrending and hopeful.

It was Okay

I like the update regarding the crossfire series characters, well played. What I didn't like about this story was the ending you don't know how or where the child died. What was the real cause behind her not drinking alcohol anymore and the purpose for all the security. It just left me feeling like empty. You may have lost some people for any future books purchases.

I’m torn

First off I am a huge Sylvia Day fan. I have listened to all of her books, not even going to mention how many times of listened to the cross fire series. Butterfly in the frost was good, but it wasn’t suck you in can’t put it down good. It was missing something for me. Anyway I’m still a huge fan and will continue to buy all of her books. The narrator did and amazing job!

Could've been better

It was an okay read but I felt there was no depth probably because of the length. The story was actually good but would've been better as a full length novel. Everything felt rushed that I didn't get a chance to even properly appreciate the twist at the end.

My new favorite story

Omg I did not see that coming in the last chapters! I hope to see story continue. Next to the Crossfire series, this is my new favorite love story!

Loved it!

I had no clue what was going on until the last chapter. That is unusual as with most books I have it figured out before then. Good writing

Butterfly in Frost

This is a lovely new begin story, after a terrible incedent, with twists that surprised me at the end. Great to know Eva and Carry still on their happy endings and going strong. Read brilliantly by Emma Wilder and Joe Arden.
