I enjoyed the story but struggled with the narration. The main characters who were in their 20s sounded like they were in their 70s.

I enjoyed the connection between the characters and the story line but I wasn't a fan of the performance of Rogan, I found it a bit cringey.

Burn for me is raw and powerful story of Nevada and Mad Rogan. i loved this book it's a story of a simple repo girl who is trying to make a decent living to be able to support her family, but ending up working with mad rogan, a prime mage that is powerful beyond belief. Renee Raudman's narrative is excellent, her portrayal of all the characters is incredibly realistic ans emotion filled.

One of the best books I've read! Truely this book was that enjoyable, I've listened to it several times. Characters take you on a spectacular journey, with intrigue, action, and a hint of romance. While at the same time there are hidden depths of said characters that slowly emerge, making you beg to know more about them. I seriously cannot wait for White Hot!

Two reasons to listen to this are quite simply the author and narrator. To some it might not be your cup of tea, to others it definitely will help time pass. For me it’s the latter and I’m so thankful I found it.

Ilona Andrews , the super couple, do not disappoint. These couple will take you in an adventure in Houston with them, with great characters. I can't wait for the next one in the series.
