Let the good times roll?

It’s Mardi Gras time, and Fortune is looking forward to seeing the spectacle firsthand, but when a visitor to Sinful is murdered during the celebration there, Fortune, Ida Belle, and Gertie can’t help but wonder what happened. Not as good as the other books in the series, but still a light and fluffy read to escape reality for a few hours.

Good but very predictable

What can I say? I love this series. However I found the return of Fortune’s father a little anticlimactic. I thought his appearance would be the central storyline, but instead it was relegated to a mostly side plot. However, it did lead to some great action scenes for Swamp Team 3 . But I was hoping that Gertie and Ida Belle would get a go at him 😉
