A missing piece in the productivity space

This book is to PKM (Personal Knowledge Management) as GTD was to task management. There has not been a clear framework setup for this area, until now. It was a good book, with 3 or 4 “ah ha” moments that make the whole thing invaluable. Highly recommend. It’s quick to get to meat and potatoes information, with the last couple of chapters on convergent and divergent information leaning into the abstract a bit too much.

Never thought a book would save my life

Uncanny. The book was outstanding and more helpful than I could’ve ever imagined. Each chapter left me feeling as if the book was written in detail specifically for me. It was almost to perfect.
This book was the lifeline I didn’t know I needed. Sincerely Thank you.

Does exactly what it says will help you do

What is the books goal? The goal of the book is to help us store an organised and efficient second brain which can organise all our notes and ideas on technology

Does the book fulfil its goal?
I have used my second brain only for a week but honestly I do think it works and is excellent.

What is the books message/theme?
Organise your notes based on action ability in different folders and sub folders, have a specific way to capture notes, organise them, distill them to get the most important stuff and to put them to use. It’s organisation can be summarised insto projects, areas of life, resources for topics and archives for stuff to put away.

Who would I reccomendation it to? Those who want to store their tons of ideas and notes properly and orderly and EASILY.

Exactly what I needed

I have been using all the digital apps for a while but it all still felt a bit cluttered, this was the perfect extra 20% I needed to get my digital space in full force

Extend and externalise your mind.

Practical and immediately realisable techniques to improve idea curation , resource alignment, and making the best of what you know and have observed. Loved reading this book and the PARA method book from the same author - Tiago Forte . I recommend this book...

An eye-opener to take personal productivity to the next level

I enjoyed this book immensely. From the beginnings and self-research journey Tiago travelled to identify and overcome his ailment through to the detailed explanation of each concept behind the P.A.R.A. framework.

This has had a significant impact on my thinking and development of my personal knowledge management system (second brain).

I will be listening to this book and using it as a reference to jump to key concepts.

IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITY: Please please add descriptive chapter headings to this audio book. That would really help use this as a reference ongoing. That would lift my overall rating to 5 stars. Thank you.

The second brain method has already changed my life

I’m a uni student and I study art. This has made it so much easier to look back at theories, contextual my work and write essays. Definitely worth setting up a second brain!!!!
