About this listen

Jenefeness was born into a broken life full of crime, abuse, and addiction. Her mother was a 14-year-old child who was molested by a family friend, giving birth to her at the age of 15. She never met her biological father until she was an adult.

Before she turned five, she and her brothers were on the run from the police traveling from Ohio to Arizona with her mother and stepdad before getting apprehended. She grew up really quickly when her mother went to prison, learning to survive at a young age. She experienced sexual abuse starting at five years old into her twenties.

Domestic violence was a ritual in her home. She gave birth to her first child at the age of sixteen, and was facing 27 years in prison by the time she was nineteen.

After so much turmoil, she thought she had left the drama behind when she found true love and married the man of her dreams. Fully trusting him with every area of her life, she was devastated when he committed the ultimate, unthinkable act. Faced with the decision to vindicate or forgive...she choose the road less traveled.

Learn how through the grace of God and heightened emotional intelligence, you can be troubled on every side, perplexed, persecuted and even cast down; BUT not distressed, in despair, forsaken or destroyed in this audiobook about a broken wife with a broken life.
