However, so many around me were not of the same. It gave me opportunity to be humble, forgive and serve. It was lonely at times.
Mario’s valid teachings acknowledge and confirm my deep truths. His teachings tackle the layers of complexities I have personally faced through life and so much of what is shared in this book connects intricately with a book I have written through struggling to survive after abuse and trauma with expectations there were people who could love in the ways described through Mario. Unfortunately this is often not the case. However, Mario has simplified steps to achieve understanding and for readers to gain an opportunity to learn the deeper meaning of reconciliation and forgiveness and the power of healing it does contain.
If we all followed these steps, from any denomination to remove the ego and narcissistic restraint’s, be humble, seek to understand, ask for sincere forgiveness from those we hurt and those who have been harmed sometimes beyond repair, you could change someone’s life or death. When a child or adult has been harmed, they deserve the dignity, respect and healing that an authentic apology can provide. Don’t just go to a priest to confess in front of your congregation to make it look like you are being sincere, this doesn’t heal the human being you have harmed. This is not reconciliation. Seek the person out, you might be too late…maybe you hurt that person so badly they have now died by suicide or their life is a mess because of your actions, but still do all you can to truly make amends because they are worth it, as are you.
