Publisher's Summary

There are three of them. Three boys. We’re friends, neighbors, our lives linked through disaster, fear, and pain.

I love them all. Not sure I can live without them.

Can we just stay friends? Can we ignore the desire flaring when we’re around each other? Can I kiss one and not the other?

I can’t choose. Don’t want to choose. And I’m not sure they can, either.

This story will either end up in heartache, or as any story should - in a happy ending.

So heartbreaking and traumatic but sweet at the same time

All 4 suffer major trauma of various kinds and help each other through... was hard to read and even harder to listen to some parts but well worth it as they come together for each other. Very hot sex scenes not for the vanilla type of person.

Hot hot hot

Sexy and hot with three amazing male narrators. This book did not rely on lame misunderstandings for the drama and no one was filthy rich. Just loved it.

I wish there was a good way to search for good sexy books that don’t involve BDSM.

Wish I could give it a higher rating

This book had the potential to be awesome but the author spent way too much time on internal dialogue that was often redundant. The first 5 hours were a PG teenage romance soap. I almost gave up 3 times. Eventually, it turns X-rated. However, I just don’t buy that 3 hot 19 year olds were complete virgins (with one exception bc of sexual abuse/no consent sex with a minor. Then they suddenly start having orgies with bisexual sex. It’s not very practical and I thought the guys were really gay but loved the girl so she was the center. This book is not for most people; even those who like multiple partners. Not to mention I personally couldn’t stand the female narrator (valley girl accent) and I’m not super picky about most narrators.

Broken Compass

I enjoy a good MM book heck my preferred is MMF, but this was even better! I was even MORE MEN. :D -this is my happy face.

I enjoyed the new adult aspect of this book a lot more than I thought I would. I guess it was more late teens but it felt very new adult.

I did have issues with the beginning it dragggggggggggged on just a little too much. I would have liked a more get to the point.

The back and forth for me was just right but the mystery around each character I don’t know I thought was a little overdone, One or 2 ok but all 4 it was almost too much. How they all come to be one really was interesting and I enjoyed how this played out I think you will too.

I think I would have been shouting this book for all to hear if it didn’t take so long to get into.

Very much enjoyed all of the narrators they did a fantastic job with emotions and tones I couldn’t have had happier ears.

NOT worth the wait.

18 hours is a long book regardless. Jo has broken it into 3 parts, because it's so big. Had it been made into a movie, it would have been 3 movies. EXCEPT that not near enough happens to warrant 3 individual stories.

This is supposed to be an erotic novel. However, when we meet and get to know the characters, they're all underage and so damaged that I personally found it difficult to reconcile the erotic aspect with the rest. As well, the story moves so slowly, mainly the characters all in their own heads analyzing each other, themselves, their f--ked-upness, over, and over, never ending.... With the exception of a couple tiny sexual encounters which don't really develop the story, the 4 main characters don't merge into the erotic foursome until the last 3rd of the book (chapter 33 I believe / they're all of age by then). And the characters still continuously withdraw into themselves thinking about their problems (for way too long) durning the course of erotic events, pulling the reader out of the moment. And, considering what some of their problems are, again... makes it difficult to feel turned on when I really just want to help these people.

As it stands, I still have over 6 hours left, and I'm torn. I hate not finishing books, but this one's a struggle.

Great listen!

This was by far one of the longest audios I have had the pleasure to listen to. At first I was a little put off knowing it was going to be an RH and realizing it was a slow burn but I am glad I kept going. All of the back story that goes with the slow burn was definitely needed to help bring the story together! As the book went on, my feelings for each character grew more and more! Jo Raven definitely knows how to make you fall head over heels for the underdogs!

The narration was good! I loved that there was a different narrator for each character. I was new to each narrator with the exception of Teddy Hamilton.

wow. just. wow.

although it's pretty slow to start, this story revs up and by the time it gets going it's just amazing and you can't stop listening! the last section is incredibly HOT! I love mmf stories and this one takes it to the next level by adding an extra m to the equation, making it one of a kind in my experience so far in terms of full length novels. definitely worth the credit and I'll definitely be listening again very soon!

Long, emotionally draining, YA polyamory mmmf end

Four main characters - all with their own stories. Individually their life stories wouldn't have filled an entire book without a lot of padding- but with the intensity of the things that these young adults either had experienced or were currently living through - it was just too much for one book. I felt emotionally drained and a bit depressed by the end.

I'm by no means a prude, however, there was a lot of non-vanilla sex during the last quarter of the book. I've certainly encountered far more graphic audible books - however, this seemed like a young adult novel for most of the book until the last third or fourth of book. Then it went almost straight into polyamory territory. I never had kids but, to me, it just seemed extreme for young adult material.

interesting

Well this book was interesting!
The story starts pretty slow, I almost gave up. But I did keep on listening and realized I was getting to know the 4.
Between all their struggles and problems, the 4 of them were similar in their own ways.
After all the ups & downs.... they became a family to love and behold. The SEX got HOT & Steamy,,, and holy shit!!
She's one fu@$ing lucky lady!! 😍

Complex characters and Intriguing Storyline

This book kept me reading or listening all the way through. I found a link for a free copy of the book and figure I might as well give the author a decent review. It is the kind of book that I wanted to read to find out what happened. Very explicit scenes so if you're easily offended it might not be the book for you. But if you like dark erotica this might be something of Interest. I would read or listen to more books by this author for sure.

Confused

I felt like I had missed the first 3 chapters and was constantly trying to catch up. I gave up half way through, it wasn’t worth the the time or effort. The narration was ok, I guess. Overall not worth the credit.

great read ,possible spoilers,definitely recommend

I really enjoyed this book as i did candy boys and the other two that followed even though this book doesn't follow on its a book of its own I love the characters in all the books and I don't normally read threesomes an up much as in alot of books they seem to put two people together and add the others now an then .....I like the consistency in these book that they always do stuff together no one been left out or flavored ....the only thing I will say is in candy boys and the other two books that follow u don't just get to now the main characters u get to now the others trough the books which I think this book is lacking you get to now them plenty and deal with there problems but it also seems to skip bits for example it seemed to glide over what happened to cash u get the basics and that's it and Nate with his touching problem that's the same me personally think this book would of been best to split this book over two books ....but I still really enjoyed this book and the depth of each character and the story I would definitely recommend .....p.s sorry I keep comparing this book to candy boys its just that's the first threesome book I've read an really enjoyed and bonus it's by the same author
